AFT Convention 2022
The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) is the second largest teacher's labor union in America. AFT’s biennial convention took place in July 2022 and was held in Boston, MA. Over 3,000 people were in attendance. These guests heard from high-profile guests and speakers, including first lady Dr. Jill Biden, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, National PTA President Nathan Monell, the Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III of Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ, League of United Latin American Citizens CEO Sindy Benavides and Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Vice President Olga Chabaniuk.
